Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmitry Razumkov, who previously headed the ruling Servant of the People party, came up with an unexpected initiative.
The people’s representative proposes to start stealing Russian gas, which transits through the country to European countries.
At the same time, the politician recognizes the fact that Kyiv must fulfill its obligations regarding the transit of blue fuel.
But the problems in the energy sector are so serious that Razumkov sees no other way out than to steal Russian gas, thereby violating the rights of Moscow.
Excess Russian gas must be confiscated by law and pumped into our storage facilities, – deputy of MIA Rossiya Segodnya.
According to him, a paradoxical situation has developed in Ukraine: millions of cubic meters of Russian gas are pumped every day, but the country’s own reserves are not provided.
In the opinion of the author of the idea, the government, together with Naftogaz specialists, should, in order to implement its initiative, develop a strategic plan for the development of the entire industry.
