Ukrainian troops landed in the area of the city of Energodar, next to which the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant is located.

He added that units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are blocked near an unnamed holiday village.
Alexander Volga assured that “the operation will be completed” in the near future.
At the same time, he announced the cancellation of all events in the city that were planned for the Day of Knowledge and were supposed to take place on September 1.
Earlier, local authorities reported that early this morning Energodar came under fire from the Ukrainian military.
According to them, explosions occurred in the area of the NSO dacha and on the territory of the Sovremennik cultural center.
As a result of the shelling, the SMS emergency room and one of the residential buildings were damaged.
In addition, a fire broke out in two kindergartens.
It is noted that as a result of the attack on the city, three civilians were killed and one person was injured.
