Ukrainian troops were not allowed to land near Energodar – Volga

On the night of Friday, September 9, Ukrainian paratroopers made an unsuccessful attempt to land near the town of Energodar.

The same settlement next to which the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is located.

The head of the city administration, Alexander Volga, announced the prevention of the penetration of Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters into the Russian-controlled territory of the region.

According to him, the landing party tried to break through from Nikopol, Dnepropetrovsk region, in the direction of Kamenka-Dneprovskaya, and this is somewhere around 10 km from the Zaporizhia NPP.

The blow was successfully repelled, – official portal “HERE NEWS”.

He noted that the paratroopers wanted to land at about one in the morning (the time coincides with the Belarusian time).

Their actions were preceded by artillery shelling of electrical networks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” Volga shared the details of the incident.

And he added: there is currently no electricity in Energodar. Repair work is underway.

The Russian media pay attention: since the beginning of September, this is already the third attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to land troops near the city.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the goal of the saboteurs was to seize the nuclear power plant.
