In the coming weeks, there may be new attempts to attempt the life of former US President Donald Trump.
American intelligence warned about this, according to Politico.
The publication notes that the White House administration also received relevant information.
Iran suspected
As the TASS agency has read the article, the information transmitted contains a warning: Iran will try to implement its threats against Trump.
This is explained by the fact that for many years Tehran has been cherishing the dream of taking revenge on Donald for the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani in 2020.
However, two senior US officials said that Washington has no evidence that the recent assassination attempt on Trump was in any way connected with Iran.
But this does not ease the concern of American intelligence, which believes that Tehran has serious capabilities to assassinate Trump.
In particular, it is said that Iran has the means to “carry out large-scale attacks against US citizens.”
Tehran’s reaction
Not long ago, CNN reported that Washington had been receiving information for several weeks about Tehran’s attempted assassination of Trump.
This information allegedly came to the White House half a month before the rally in Pennsylvania, where fire was opened on the ex-president.
Iran’s permanent mission to the UN has rejected accusations that Tehran is involved in the assassination attempt on the famous republican.
Stating that these insinuations were “baseless and biased,” diplomats did not deny that Tehran considers Trump a criminal who should stand trial for ordering the killing of Soleimani.
