The New York Times, citing Ukrainian documents and sources, concluded that the West did not supply part of the promised weapons to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
It is also reported that some of the weapons that were delivered turned out to be unusable.
RIA Novosti that since February 2022, the Ukrainian administration has provided contracts totaling $800 million for arms suppliers.
According to the American publication, some contracts were not fulfilled.
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Vladimir Gavrilov noted that there were cases when funds were transferred, but contract obligations were not fulfilled.
It was also noted that some of the weapons supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine turned out to be unusable or required repairs.
The American publication writes that some of the supplied weapons were only suitable for disassembly for spare parts.
The media add that Ukraine quite often refrains from criticizing Western arms suppliers.
