It recently became known that after the assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump, the head of the country’s Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, resigned.
Her dismissal was officially confirmed by the Oversight Committee of the House of Representatives of the US Congress.
The Committee also promised to continue investigating the actions of the Secret Service and the assassination attempt on Trump.
