It is noted that the head of the American State Department arrived in China this Sunday morning.
Earlier it was reported that Blinken’s visit to China was scheduled for two days. It was originally planned for February.
But then the plans were thwarted due to an incident with a Chinese balloon, which the US military shot down with a missile in US airspace.
Beijing said the downed balloon was their weather balloon, but Washington argued that the device was collecting important information.
Be that as it may, Blinken still flew to China. By the way, this is the first visit to China by the US State Department since October 2018.
