0views

The US administration sent JUMP 20 model unmanned aerial vehicles to Taiwan free of charge.

Training will also be provided for the use of these UAVs.

This message was from the Taiwan Central News Agency.

The reason for providing American drones was to help ensure security in the Taiwan Strait.

An agreement to provide free supplies of unmanned aerial vehicles of this model was reached at the end of 2022.

The United States agreed to provide this model of UAV to make it easier for the Taiwanese administration to deal with illegal fishing.

Also, these drones can be used to prevent various types of criminal activities and to prevent various disasters in the marine area.

Former deputy commander of the Taiwan Air Force Zhang Yanting noted that the JUMP 20 model unmanned aerial vehicles are capable of conducting reconnaissance operations.

They can also stay in the air for 14 hours and reach speeds of up to 92 kilometers per hour.
