Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, who arrived in Taiwan, made an important statement.
She publicly announced her country’s position regarding the island.
According to a senior American, Washington will not give up its support for Taipei.
She also notified the general public that the United States is proud of its strong friendship with Taiwan and intends to continue to support it.
Mrs. Pelosi spoke about this during a meeting with the head of the island’s administration, Tsai Ing-wen.
