The United States will provide Ukraine with another package of military assistance worth $100 million.

This was reported by the press service of the American Department of Defense (Pentagon).

TASS, which has read the corresponding statement, writes that the new aid package includes anti-tank weapons and missiles for air defense systems.

In particular, America will send Kyiv Stinger anti-aircraft missiles and the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system.

The package also included 155 mm and 105 mm artillery shells, TOW optically guided missile systems, Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems.

In addition, the Pentagon indicated that they would also send Ukraine over three million rounds of small arms ammunition with ammunition for destroying obstacles.

The assistance package also included cold weather equipment, spare parts, maintenance equipment, and other support equipment.

According to a statement from the US Department of Defense, as part of the additional aid package, Kyiv will receive weapons approved by Washington for transfer to Kyiv in previous fiscal years.

According to the head of the American State Department, Antony Blinken, the new aid package “will help meet the urgent needs of Ukraine.”

The chief US diplomat also called on his country’s Congress to take additional measures to support Kyiv – primarily by approving Biden’s request for additional funding.
