18views

In the United States, museum visitors were injured while viewing an exhibition dedicated to the disaster on board the Titanic.

The museum is located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. At some point, a piece of the iceberg collapsed on the tourists, injuring three people, according to the museum’s Facebook page.

A piece of the wall of an improvised “iceberg”, which at one time destroyed the legendary liner, collapsed on tourists.

Due to the collapse of the structure, three people were hospitalized.

As the museum administration said in a statement, it is not yet known how serious the injuries were.

However, after the incident with the exhibition, the Titanic Museum was closed.

The museum staff is taking the necessary measures to prevent the situation from happening in the future.

The passenger liner Titanic was launched in 1911.

The flight from Southampton was his last. On the night of April 14, the ship collided with an iceberg drifting in the North Atlantic and sank to the bottom within 2 hours and 40 minutes.

The crash killed 1.5 thousand people. Only 712 passengers and crew members managed to escape.
