The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, Viktor Khrenin, made a statement about the ongoing global proxy war.
As the head of the defense department noted, similar actions are now being carried out all over the world, and those who benefit from them are trying their best to stay in the shadows.
Viktor Khrenin made a corresponding statement today at the plenary session of the IX Moscow Conference on International Security, reports.
The conference is hosted by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The event takes place from June 22 to 24.
Those gathered will discuss current problems and trends in international military policy.
Participants from 109 countries around the world were invited to the forum.
The delegates are heads of defense departments and chiefs of general staff, representatives of international organizations of the CIS, CSTO, UN, OSCE, International Committee of the Red Cross, League of Arab States.
In his speech, Viktor Khrenin also noted that a year ago, at a similar conference, current security issues were discussed, including the militarization of European states, the involvement of neutral countries in conflicts, etc.
But to date there has been no improvement on these and other issues.
