Aleksandar Vucic called on Kosovo Serbs to stop protests and dismantle the barricades.
Let us remind you that ethnic Serbs living in the north of Kosovo, outraged by the actions of local authorities, are protesting en masse. At the same time, some roads were blocked.
The director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija under the government of the country, Petar Petkovic, notified their president’s call to complete such acts.
We have received guarantees from the US and EU that none of the Serbs in Kosovo who participated in the protests and barricades will be persecuted or detained, – from an official of MIA Rossiya Segodnya.
According to him, Belgrade also received guarantees from the Kosovo Security Forces.
They promised not to come to the north of the region without the consent of the commander of the NATO mission and representatives of local residents.
Petkovic added that following Vucic’s meeting with Kosovo Serb delegates, the president will inform whether the barricades will be dismantled.
