“We are going into a war zone.” The head of the IAEA spoke about plans for a mission to Zaporizhia NPP

The head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, informed the general public about the plans of the mission he heads regarding the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant.

Let us remind you that on August 31, the media reported that agency experts from Kyiv moved in the direction of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

There, according to Mr. Grossi’s statement, the mission will stay for several days.

According to him, experts at the site will have to assess the real state of affairs and help stabilize the situation.

To solve the assigned tasks, the mission will spend several days at the Zaporozhye NPP, Grossi added.

He also said that the delegation received security guarantees from both sides.
