Joe Biden explained his decision to participate in the upcoming US presidential elections (scheduled for November 2024).
According to him, he would not have applied for re-election as head of state if Donald Trump had not wanted to become one again.
And Biden, who is striving for a second term within the White House, wants to prevent him from achieving what he wants; he says Trump “cannot be allowed to win.”

And later Biden made a statement contradicting the previous one: he said that even without Trump he would have taken part in the 2024 presidential race.

Separately, he noted: he has no plans to stop participating in the race even if Trump suddenly leaves the race.
And the latter, reacting to his competitor’s statements, suggested that Biden was not saying what he thought himself, but what he was asked to say.
“I think someone suggested these words to him,” Donald put forward this hypothesis.
