Recently it became known about a serious emergency incident in the US capital – a car rammed the fence of the White House.
According to Washington media, the driver of the car died at the scene of the incident.
They cite a statement on social network X by US Secret Service official Anthony Guglielmi as the source of this information.
According to him, the accident took place around half past ten in the evening (about half past six in the morning on May 5, Belarusian time).
Then “a car crashed at high speed into the outer gate of the White House complex,” a statement from the Secret Service to the TASS agency.
Officers tried to provide first aid to the driver of the car, but when they got to the car, they found him dead.
According to the statement, the incident is not considered a threat to the White House, and the incident is being investigated.
