Why the Catholic Church wants to excommunicate Joe Biden from communion

12views

US President Joe Biden may be excommunicated. This decision can be made by the Catholic bishops of the United States.

The clergy is currently working on a document that will regulate the church’s decision. The ban would apply to politicians who support abortion and euthanasia.

The highest clergy of the American Catholic Church has already discussed this act at the general assembly of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops.

The Eucharist is Christ himself. This is the person we meet,” MIA quotes the words of the Vatican Ambassador to the USA, Christophe Pierre.

It is worth noting that for Biden himself, excommunication from communion is not unusual. This happened for the first time back in 2019, but the ban did not last long, and it was also not possible to solve the problem in this way.

Against this background, public attention is drawn to a congratulatory letter sent by the head of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, José Gomez.

The document was left before the inauguration of the new US President in January of this year.

The clergyman dared to remind Biden that he promises to implement plans that promote moral evil, threaten human life and dignity, and also concern issues of abortion and traditional family values.
