Former Polish President and long-time leader of the Solidarity trade union Lech Walesa spoke harshly against the European Union.
The politician proposes to dissolve the commonwealth and create a new association. But without his country and Hungary.
Walesa, in principle, considers Brussels’ attempts to negotiate a compromise with Warsaw unnecessary.
He believes that if the European Commission agrees to the Polish National Recovery Plan after the COVID-19 pandemic, this will lead to its defeat.
The European Union should dissolve and in a minute create a new community based on Germany and France, but without Poland and Hungary, – ex-president of MIA Rossiya Segodnya.
He added: if Warsaw wanted to become a member of the new association, it would have to accept not only the rights, but also the responsibilities within the union.
And install them in such a way that the antics that occur today will not be repeated,” said Lech Walesa.
