Information has appeared in foreign sources according to which some Western politicians are in favor of holding elections in Ukraine.
We are talking about several influential officials from Europe and the USA.
It is noted that these people are calling on Kyiv to give Ukrainian citizens the opportunity to exercise their right to vote, despite the conflict and the martial law imposed in the country.

The situation with the elections in Ukraine
The Eastern European country is currently under martial law.
This is precisely what the Ukrainian authorities pay attention to when discussing whether it is possible to hold elections in the country.
Ukrainian government officials note that in such a situation, the procedure for electing government representatives is impossible, according to the Ukrainian constitution.
Another problem is mentioned: difficulties may arise with the participation in voting of people who left the country (and there are several million of them), as well as representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine participating in hostilities.
