Yushchenko: “crowds of presidents and prime ministers” persuaded Zelensky to sit down at the negotiating table

Many leaders of the European Union countries have repeatedly tried to convince Vladimir Zelensky to start negotiations with Russia.

But all attempts by presidents and prime ministers failed – the Ukrainian leader did not agree to a diplomatic settlement of the situation.

Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko has this information. He shared them in an interview with one of the local publications.

From Europe, I won’t name names, but a crowd of presidents and prime ministers came with one message for President Zelensky: “Sit down at the table, then we’ll figure it out,” – policy of MIA “Russia Today”.

Yushchenko also recalled how Zelensky was called for peace talks by former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder and former head of the US State Department Henry Kissinger.

The former president of Ukraine himself believes that the current authorities of his country will not resolve the conflict through diplomatic methods.
