Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny made an important statement.
He informed the general public about the situation at the front: he said that for the Ukrainian Armed Forces it is now difficult, but controllable.
In particular, Zaluzhny spoke about this in his telegram channel following the meeting of the contact group on Ukrainian defense issues within the Ramstein format.

A little earlier, a high-ranking Ukrainian military officer told The Economist journalist that the situation on the battlefield had reached a dead end.
He also stated that he now has no hope of a breakthrough by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, although, according to “NATO textbooks,” Ukrainian soldiers should have already “fought” in Crimea.
