Vladimir Zelensky acknowledged the fact that without the help of the United States, Kyiv will be forced to surrender its lands to Russia.
The American newspaper The Washington Post notified the general public about this recognition of the Ukrainian president.
The article says that, speaking in Congress, Zelensky notified politicians there that his country would never give up in the confrontation with Russia.
However, the newspaper notes, a distinguished guest from an overseas Slavic country warned congressmen: without additional help, the conflict will be much tougher.
And it will become this way for the reason that the Ukrainian Armed Forces “will inevitably cede territory to their purposeful and well-armed enemy,” according to the publication of MIA Rossiya Segodnya.
The same article notes that Zelensky was unable to convince members of Congress of the need to provide his country with several billion dollars in aid.
Earlier, Blinken said that it was the United States that would transfer to Kyiv as part of the new aid package approved by Biden.
