Zelensky asked British parliamentarians to give Kyiv combat aircraft

0views

On Wednesday, February 8, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky arrived in Britain on an official visit.

He met with the prime minister of the country and the king, visited the base where Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters train, and also spoke in parliament.

It was from local legislators that the Ukrainian leader sometimes asked for combat aircraft during his speech.

At the same time, he gave their representative a gift from his fellow pilots – a flight helmet.

I address you and the whole world with simple but very important words: combat aircraft for Ukraine,” Zelensky MIA “Russia Today”.

He said this, according to Russian media, after presenting the gift he had brought with him.

The President of Ukraine also expressed the hope that the symbol (the helmet donated to him) will contribute in the interests of Kyiv to the formation of an “aircraft” coalition after the “tank” coalition.

Let us add that after a busy program of stay in Foggy Albion, Zelensky was awaiting a trip to France.

In Paris, he met with Emmanuel Macron and Olaf Scholz. The latter was embarrassed – he stood not under his own flag, but under the flag of Ukraine.

But the gentlemen presidents quickly sorted out the difficulties that had arisen, and soon everything fell into place.
