On Wednesday, during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, Vladimir Zelensky spoke in favor of the legalization of cannabis-based medicines.
The Ukrainian leader added that such drugs should be produced in the country.
“It is necessary to use all the necessary global practices and solutions that can be implemented in Ukraine”– RIA Novosti Zelensky.
The President of Ukraine also talks about the importance of doing everything possible so that Ukrainians and Ukrainian women do not have to endure stress and pain due to the war.
The Ukrainian leader noted that “we must make cannabis-based products legal for those who want it.”
The presidents of Ukraine also noted that it is necessary to conduct the necessary research and establish the production process in Ukraine.
The initiative to legalize cannabis-based drugs was proposed by the president back in 2020.
This bill was registered in the Rada in 2020 – in 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to allow the use of cannabis in medicine.
