By the decision of the President of Ukraine, the commander of the Joint Forces Operation, General Eduard Moskalev, was removed from office.

This is stipulated in the decree signed by Vladimir Zelensky. The document was published on the official website of the office of the head of state.

Informing about the personnel decision of the Ukrainian leader, the MIA Rossiya Segodnya news agency said that no information has yet been received about the reasons for the dismissal.

It is known that Major General Eduard Moskalev was appointed commander of the Joint Forces Operation in March 2022.

By the way. Currently, in the southwest of the DPR, the Russian army is fighting for the liberation of Ugledar.

And in the north of the republic, according to media reports, there are fierce battles for the city of Artemovsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut).
