On Monday, July 25, it became known about another high-profile resignation in the leadership structures of Ukraine.

By decree of President Vladimir Zelensky, First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Ruslan Demchenko was dismissed.

For what reason the Ukrainian leader fired the civil servant is still unknown. It is reported that he signed the decree on July 25.

Let us recall that earlier Vladimir Zelensky, by corresponding decrees, dismissed the head of the SBU Ivan Bakanov and the Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova from their positions.

Then, numerous facts of high treason by employees of the departments headed by these people were cited as justification for the personnel decisions made.

Last week, the Rada voted to dismiss the named leaders.

All this is happening against the backdrop of Russia’s ongoing military special operation in Ukraine.
