Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has found a new way to receive American money.
True, this option has long been discussed in the States themselves, in particular, Donald Trump and some Republicans strongly recommended it.
We are talking about providing assistance to Kyiv not through funding from the budget, but through the provision of a loan.
After much thought, Zelensky responded to this proposal by publicly declaring that Ukraine is ready for such a scenario of receiving assistance.
The head of state recalled a recent dialogue with one of the American senators, who asked him: “Will you agree to loan money?”
In response, Zelensky inquired: “What are the options?”
“Well, if they tell you that the money is on credit or you won’t receive it.” I say: “Why these elections if there is no choice?” Therefore, we will agree to any option, – the Ukrainian leader of the Rossiya Segodnya MIA.
Zelensky noted: if Kyiv were offered to give money on credit, but today, or for free, but in a year, then he would choose the option “only today.”
Earlier, Zelensky reported a shortage of weapons to disrupt Russia’s offensive.
