It recently became known that at meetings of the Ukrainian High Command, increased attention is paid to the city of Kharkov.
The issue is so relevant for Kyiv that it has already become central within the framework of these events.
President Vladimir Zelensky stated this in one of his traditional video addresses to the people of the country.
Maximum attention is now paid to Kharkov. Today I held a meeting of the headquarters, where the topic of Kharkov and the region was the main one, – Head of State MIA “Russia Today”.
Zelensky explained: now the Ukrainian authorities, together with Western partners, are actively working to strengthen air defense systems in Kharkov.
Let us remind you that last week, retired general of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, former deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Sergei Krivonos announced the need to prepare for the defense of Kharkov.
Earlier, Zelensky reported a shortage of weapons to disrupt Russia’s offensive.
