Zelensky promises to hold Eurovision in Mariupol

After it became known that the first place in the Eurovision 2022 competition was awarded to a Ukrainian group, Vladimir Zelensky promised to hold an international show in Mariupol.

The statement was published in the presidential Telegram channel, along with congratulations to the Kalush Orchestra.

Zelensky in his Telegram channel promised to do everything so that the Eurovision singing competition would one day take place in Mariupol.

At the same time, the Ukrainian leader congratulated the musicians who represented Ukraine in Turin, Italy.

Inspired by the first place, Zelensky noted that the courage of the Ukrainian people amazed the whole world, and Ukrainian music conquered all of Europe.

This will be the third Eurovision contest that will be hosted and held on the territory of Ukraine.

As for holding the event in Mariupol, Zelensky expresses confidence that the Ukrainians will again set the bar high and then the participants and guests of the international show will gather in Mariupol.

Let us remind you that Kalush Orchestra took first place at Eurovision 2022, performing the song Stefania, dedicated to all Ukrainian mothers.
