Zelensky reacted to the statement of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine about the deadlock

Not long ago, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, in an interview with The Economist magazine, said that the situation on the battlefield had reached a dead end.

The commander-in-chief’s words were heard at the very top of the Ukrainian government – ​​President Vladimir Zelensky publicly reacted to this.

At the same time, the head of state made a corresponding statement in the presence of the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, who returned to Kyiv during a joint press conference.

According to Zelensky’s conviction, voiced at that event, the situation at the front is not a stalemate for Ukraine.

People are tired, everyone is tired, regardless of their status. This is understandable. But this is not a stalemate,” the president of the TASS agency.

At the same time, he acknowledged the fact that the skies are now controlled by the Russian Aerospace Forces.

It is for this reason,” Zelensky noted, “that the offensive of the Ukrainian troops is now so difficult.

The current circumstances can be changed for the better for Kyiv if it receives American F-16 fighters and strengthens its air defense forces, the head of state believes.

As for the thesis that has been voiced more than once from all sides about the need to freeze the conflict, Zelensky categorically rejects this idea.
