Zelensky’s office spoke about the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the beginning of the Northern Military District
Advisor to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Mikhail Podolyak, announced figures regarding the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the special military operation of Russia.
According to him, we are talking about a number of approximately 10,000 to 13,000 people.
Podolyak noted that the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, made a mistake when she reported about 100,000 dead Ukrainian soldiers – MIA Rossiya Segodnya.
Referring to data from the General Staff of his country, voiced by Vladimir Zelensky, the politician said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost from 10,000 to 12,500 – 13,000 fighters.
By the way, the European Union did not want to apologize to Kyiv for information about 100,000 soldiers lost by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Earlier, the commander of the United Group of Russian Forces, Army General Sergei Surovikin, said that in October alone, the Ukrainian army lost over 12,000 soldiers.
In September, the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, informed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had lost over 61,000 soldiers killed and 49,000 wounded.
