The President of Ukraine said that during a telephone conversation with his American colleague, he heard from him a promise that was important for Kyiv.
According to Vladimir Zelensky, Joe Biden assured that the United States will provide a new – fast and powerful – aid package.
It will strengthen Ukraine’s air defense, long-range and artillery capabilities.
The leader of the Slavic country clarified that the telephone conversation was devoted specifically to the issue of America providing an aid package after the adoption of the relevant law by Congress.

The Ukrainian head of state also said that he had discussed with Biden a bilateral agreement on security guarantees.
