Sources report that the long-standing conflict between the Office of the President of Ukraine and Mayor Klitschko has escalated.
On the other hand, several meetings on this topic have already been held in the president’s office, writes the Telegram channel “Country Politics”.
It is said that the meeting took place on June 12. Allegedly, candidates are being selected to replace the current mayor: Sergei Gaidai (former head of the Lugansk regional military administration), Yuri Golik (ex-curator of the Zelensky office project “Big Construction”) and Alexander Kamyshin (Minister of Strategic Industry).
At the same time, sources write that after Klitschko’s resignation there will be no time to be despondent, because such a decision by Zelensky’s office will immediately make Klitschko the leader of the local opposition.
