Zelensky’s statement about Ukrainian refugees was called threatening

3views

Vladimir Zelensky’s statement about Ukrainian refugees, who have settled in Western European countries since the beginning of the Northeast Military District, was considered threatening.

American journalist Glenn Greenwald, who in the past had connections with Edward Snowden, commented not in the most flattering way on Zelensky’s words.

What Zelensky said

The statement was a reaction to the possibility of reducing military and economic assistance to Ukraine from the collective West.

Zelensky said that in response to such measures, millions of Ukrainian refugees in Europe could organize anything and their reaction would be difficult to predict.

The corresponding statement was made in an interview with the Economist.

A reaction

He’s essentially saying, “I have terrorist cells embedded in your country. And if you give in to the growing reluctance of your population to continue to funnel all this money into our war and continue to tolerate rising energy prices at the risk of escalation, nuclear war, if you stop this, I’m not saying that I would advise them to do this, but no one knows what they might start doing, what they will do to you, these millions of Ukrainian refugees whom you have now accepted into your country,” MIA quotes “ “Greenwald’s words.
