The heatwave is on, so everyone wants to keep their home cool. Air conditioning is a very practical and good way to cool your home, but many people are afraid it’s bad for your health.

Making a Home Air Conditioner

Ingredients:

  • 6 plastic bottles
  • 1 piece of cardboard or plastic sheet
  • Cutting tools
  • Plastic clamp
  • Silicone gun
  • Fan

Preparation:

  1. Prepare the Plastic Bottles:
    • Cut off the top of the bottles at the beginning of the label.
    • Remove the caps.
    • You should have six pieces of these bottles.
  2. Prepare the Cardboard:
    • Draw a circle on your cardboard with the diameter of your fan.
    • Cut out the circle.
    • On the cut-out circle, draw 6 smaller circles using the bottle, with the circles symmetrically placed next to each other.
    • Cut out the smaller circles.
  3. Assemble the Bottles:
    • Place the cut plastic bottles into the cut-out circles and fix them with adhesive tape.
    • Use the silicone gun to stabilize the bottles on the cardboard.
    • Make 2 holes between each bottle and insert the plastic clamp into the holes for extra stability.
  4. Attach to the Fan:
    • Place the prepared cardboard with the bottles onto the fan.
    • Fix the structure to the fan grille using the plastic clamp.
    • Cut off the remaining free part of the plastic clamp.
