We all have places at home that we go to very often, and one of them is the toilet. A very important place in everyday life, and therefore it is very important that it is clean. But today we’re not talking about the whole toilet, just the majestic white throne in the middle of it.

How to keep it clean

There are lots of different ways to clean a toilet, but most people use household chemicals. To choose the right ones, you need to know a few things: how it behaves during the reaction — the moment you apply it to the surface — and how it behaves afterwards and whether it washes off easily with water. Usually, all this is written on the product’s packaging or on the bottle.

Method number 1

The advantage of this product is that it not only helps you to clean your toilet, but also helps to break up any blockage that may have formed. Well, the detailed recipe with measurements is at the end.
The recipe itself is quite simple. We need to take baking soda and pour it into the toilet.
Then we have to pour the vinegar in there and wait for the chemical reaction to start.

It manifests itself as a copious rise of foam. When the foam starts to rise, we have to take our brush and start cleaning the toilet. If the proportions are right, the foam will be enough to thoroughly clean our white throne. And we shouldn’t even worry that the foam will settle fast enough. It’s still enough for the procedure.
The proportions in a separate list for easy reference:

  • Soda. We need quite a lot of it, take half a glass, you won’t go wrong;
  • Vinegar. This is important. Nine percent vinegar is fine for us. Also, the vinegar is only half a glass.

This is the method. As always, there’s nothing in it that requires you to invest a lot of money or spend a lot of time. At the same time, the result of using this method is sure to amaze you.

The toilet bowl must be drained of accumulated water beforehand. Pour soda ash on the inside surface of the toilet. It is advisable to moisten the toilet seat with water beforehand.

After 30 minutes, the salt and soda under the toilet seat should react with the plaque. Pour the vinegar into the toilet seat and remove the dirt with a brush. Even the strongest will wash off after exposure to these components.
Any remaining dirt can be easily washed away by draining the water. A white, shiny surface without residue or plaque is left behind.
