At a meeting with Vladimir Zelensky, Joe Biden confirmed the fact that the United States plans to supply Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine.
The American leader also announced his readiness to train the Ukrainian military to work with these weapons.

For this reason, Biden noted, Washington plans to transfer the Patriot air defense system to Kyiv and train the Ukrainian military to “flawlessly use” the system.
In the opinion of the US President, the transfer of this type of weapon to Ukraine “does not entail an escalation” of the conflict.
In addition, Biden confirmed previously published information about the allocation of financial assistance in the amount of $1.85 billion for Kyiv.
It is this assistance package that includes the mentioned anti-aircraft missile system.
