Kyiv is transferring additional special units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the city of Artemovsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut).
LPR People’s Militia officer Andrei Marochko spoke about this, citing intelligence data.
According to him, such a step by the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is due to the desire to retain the named settlement.
To hold the settlement, an additional transfer of Ukrainian special forces troops was noted, – law enforcement officer at MIA Rossiya Segodnya.
He noted that these units are not limited only to carrying out tasks to counter the advancing Russian troops and conduct defensive actions.
They are also tasked with suppressing panic and desertion in the ranks of the Ukrainian military personnel currently stationed there,” the officer informed.
Let us remind you that Artemovsk is currently under the control of Ukrainian troops. There are fierce battles for the city.
