The presentation of the newest strategic bomber B-21 Raider, created using stealth technology, took place in the United States.
The combat aircraft was presented by Northrop Grumman, one of the country’s leading defense contractors.
As MIA Rossiya Segodnya, the event (broadcast on the manufacturer’s website) took place at a plant in California.
Anywhere in the world under any conditions
The presentation was attended by Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin, who had previously announced this event as “historic.”
And the company called its plane the only one in the world among similar sixth-generation bombers.
“Together with this aircraft, we will present to you the next generation of stealth technology, developed for the US Air Force to solve the most complex problems,” noted representatives of the manufacturer.
According to them, the new product will help the US military “contain and eliminate threats anywhere in the world” in almost any conditions, including changing ones.
Moreover, attention is drawn to the fact that due to new technologies, the B-21 is even able to stay ahead of threats.
Air defense won’t see him
The company said that the new bomber can reach anywhere in the world.
It can carry both nuclear and non-nuclear weapons and is capable of being invisible to the most advanced air defense systems.
The last possibility – invisibility for air defense – is provided by the modernized Stealth technology.
At the presentation it was reported that in the future they could introduce unmanned versions of this model of combat aircraft.
