The head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the arrival of MLRS from France to the country

France transferred multiple launch rocket systems to Ukraine.

The head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Alexey Reznikov, announced this on November 29 on Twitter.

Which MLRS did France transfer?

According to the head of the Ukrainian defense department, French LRU M270 MLRS have arrived in the country.

The minister did not specify how many MLRS were transferred by France.

Reznikov noted that the transfer of the MLRS was the result of friendship between Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and French President Emmanuel Macron.

“Thank you to the Minister of the French Armed Forces Sebastien Lecorne, the government and people of France,” the minister expressed his gratitude.
LRU M270 is a French modernized analogue of the American HIMARS MLRS on a tracked platform. Can fire guided projectiles with a range of up to 85 kilometers.

Earlier in November, France transferred Crotale anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine.
